Our colleagues consistently manage for innovation, developing the most efficient and effective ways to provide high-quality care, resulting in the best outcomes for patients and healthier communities. Every suggestion and every voice here counts, and every colleague’s contribution is highly valued and appreciated.  All colleagues have the potential to be an innovator and leader, regardless of their title –healthcare needs each and every one of us to meet the transformation challenges our industry faces.

At NAH, we set lofty goals for ourselves. By 2020, we intend on achieving Magnet Status, and being named a top health system in the U.S. based on quality, patient experience and safety.

Just a few innovations we’re proud of

  • 3-D mammography at all NAH locations where mammograms are offered; helping us detect, diagnosis and treat breast cancer earlier.
  • A dynamic roster of clinical trials and research at the Cardiovascular Institute brings the latest in cardiovascular care to our communities.
  • Virtual Care services such as videoconferencing, still image transmission, remote monitoring of vital signs, eHealth, continuing medical education and nursing call centers connect healthcare providers in rural and remote locations.
  • Guardian Medical Transport leads the region, state and nation in cardiac arrest resuscitation. Over the last 10 years, GMT has worked closely with the state EMS medical director; the Saving Hearts in Arizona Registry and Education, or SHARE, program; the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center; and Zoll to develop new techniques and incorporate new technologies into cardiac resuscitation. From conference presentations and videos to academic publications, GMT continues to excel in cardiac arrest resuscitation.
