Health insurance and billing can be confusing. At Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH), we have two dedicated teams to help you understand your billing, insurance and costs.
- Our Financial Navigation team is available online and by phone to help you calculate your estimated out-of-pocket costs.
- Our Patient Financial Services team is available by phone and in person to help you understand billing procedures and requirements, including online bill pay.
Whether you are preparing for an upcoming appointment, paying a bill or requesting financial assistance, our teams are here to provide the information you need so you can manage your health care costs with confidence.
Understanding your hospital and physician bills
Some of our physicians bill separately from the hospital. This means you may receive more than one bill for your care.
The following services are not included on your hospital bill:
- Anesthesiology
- Cardiology
- Emergency Department services
- Hospitalist services
- Radiology
