Just a few innovations we're proud of
- 3-D mammography at all NAH locations where mammograms are offered; helping us detect, diagnosis and treat breast cancer earlier.
- A dynamic roster of clinical trials and research at the Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona brings the latest in cardiovascular care to our communities.
- Telemedicine services such as videoconferencing, still image transmission, remote monitoring of vital signs, eHealth, continuing medical education and nursing call centers connect healthcare providers in rural and remote locations.
- Guardian Medical Transport leads the region, state and nation in cardiac arrest resuscitation. Over the last 10 years, GMT has worked closely with the state EMS medical director; the Saving Hearts in Arizona Registry and Education, or SHARE, program; the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center; and Zoll to develop new techniques and incorporate new technologies into cardiac resuscitation. From conference presentations and videos to academic publications, GMT continues to excel in cardiac arrest resuscitation.
