Guardian Air medical crews collaborate with specialty medical directors from Northern Arizona Healthcare, including a board-certified emergency physician, pediatric intensivist, perinatologist and neonatologist.
Guardian Air medical crews consist of highly trained registered nurses and certified Emergency paramedics who are trained to care for all patients across the lifespan. Every crew member has at least three years of critical care experience and has earned advanced qualifications such as certified flight nurse or certified flight paramedic, or carries a critical care or Emergency nurse certification. Initial and continuing education with Guardian Air consists of specialized clinical hours, run reviews and simulation time in the high-fidelity SIM lab as well as classroom time with specialized instructors.
