Media inquiries regarding patients in the custody of law enforcement
If a patient is in the custody of a law enforcement agency, all questions regarding the patient will be referred to the law enforcement agency that has custody – for example, the Flagstaff Police Department or the Cottonwood Police Department.
In the case of a crime or incident such as a fire, all inquiries surrounding the circumstances that brought a patient to the facility will be referred to the appropriate agency to ensure the flow of accurate information.
