At the Safe Child Center, our mission is to:
- Assist children who are victims of abuse or neglect or are witness to major crimes by providing intervention services in a child-sensitive environment that promotes comfort, communication and healing.
- Work to significantly reduce the secondary victimization experienced by children and their families after a suspected crime has occurred.
- Follow a multidisciplinary team approach to make sure there is a thorough investigation of suspected crimes against children.
