Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) announced that Lisa Thompson, PA, has joined the NAH Medical Group (NAHMG) as a new provider at the Cottonwood primary care office. She is accepting patients now. NAHMG provides a multidisciplinary primary care approach involving physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners to help families and the community stay healthy.

Thompson believes that providing high-quality health care means that the provider-patient relationship is built upon trust and the right education. As the provider, she feels she is there to provide the education and tools that the patient may need. She believes that each patient deserves a unique and personalized approach to manage their own health conditions.
Thompson earned her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant and Health Studies from Touro University in New York City and an additional Bachelor of Science of Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University. She is board certified by the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants.
