Q: What is your care philosophy?

A: I want patients to understand all of their options for treatment and develop a plan together to help them achieve their goals and return to an active life.

Q: What do you want your patients to know about you?

A: I have a passion for sports. As a former college basketball player, I recognize the training and commitment it takes to excel as an athlete. I also understand the devastation associated with getting injured. My goal is to return all patients and athletes to the sport or life activity they love as quickly and safely as possible.

Q: What do you enjoy about being in the field of medicine?

A: I enjoy getting to know patients and their families. I find satisfaction seeing an injured athlete, weekend warrior or retiree return to the activities he or she loves after treatment (surgical or non-surgical).

Q: Does your scope of practice include holistic/integrative medicine?

A: I choose osteopathic medicine because of the holistic approach it provides. I maintain this holistic approach and believe that the body has an amazing ability to heal, as its structure and function are reciprocally related.

Q: What are the areas of expertise and interest are you most excited about bringing to NAH?

A: I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon fellowship-trained in shoulder and elbow surgery. I am the only surgeon fellowship-trained in shoulder and elbow surgery in all of Northern Arizona.
