Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) announced that Tylie Polatis, PA-C, has joined the Cardiovascular Institute in Cottonwood at Verde Valley Medical Center (VVMC). Polatis treats a variety of conditions, including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease and heart failure. Polatis’s experience will complement the skillset of other Cardiovascular Institute providers, such as Sanjiv Faldu, MD and Randy Nagarakanti, MD, and her addition helps us continue to expand patient access to cardiovascular care.
“We are so pleased to have Tylie join our comprehensive team in at the Cardiovascular Institute in Cottonwood,” said Northern Arizona Healthcare Medical Group President Pasquale Bernardi, MD. “She is a talented health care provider who will build on NAH’s commitment of providing exceptional care to her patients. We are always excited to add more specialty providers to the community, allowing for Verde Valley residents to stay close to home for specialized care,” Dr. Bernardi added.
Polatis earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from Idaho State University in Pocatello and her undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She also has additional certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS).
