Visiting Hours

10 a.m. to 9 p.m., except:

Intensive Care Unit

Visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 3 to 6 p.m. and 8 to 9 p.m. This is limited to immediate family and/or individuals patients designate as significant, according to the patient's condition. Visits should be limited to 15 minutes. Use the white phone by the ICU doors to call the nurse's station before entering the ICU. Please remember to turn off all cell phones.

Visits should be limited to 30 minutes.

Visiting hours may be modified depending on the infant’s, mother's or patient's condition. The birthing support team can visit as they wish except in the event of a C-section. Please check with nursing staff for visiting times that apply to special procedures or for grandparents.

One member of the family may stay around the clock. A support person designated by the parent may stay in the parent's absence.

Children as visitors

It’s important to check with staff to determine any current visiting restrictions. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult, be supervised and kept under control at all times.

During times of high risk of exposure to disease, only those 18 years and older will be allowed to visit. Please be aware: During Respiratory Syncytial Virus, or RSV, season, children under 12 years are prohibited from visiting patient care areas of the hospital.

Lounges for patients and visitors are located throughout the hospital. Outside patios are located on the first level adjacent to the Café, the Rose Garden, outside the Surgery waiting area and outside the Telemetry unit.

On the second level, two patios flank the Mingus unit. Public restrooms and telephones are located near the main entrances and most waiting areas.
