Kristen M. Bamberg, PharmD, MS, BCPS, BCCP, graduated from Midwestern College of Pharmacy-Glendale in 2002 and has practiced at Flagstaff Medical Center since 2004. She is a seasoned pharmacy leader with a career rooted in exemplary clinical and operational excellence. Since 2008, as the Lead Pharmacist in Critical Care, she has been instrumental in managing pharmaceutical care and nursing and provider education across three critical care units—including medical-surgical, cardiovascular and trauma—as well as a 40-bed Progressive Care Unit at a Level I Trauma center. Her role extends beyond direct patient care to include the development of evidenced-based protocols, TPN management, pharmacokinetic consultations and management of anticoagulation.

An active contributor to the profession both locally and nationally, Dr. Bamberg has earned numerous accolades, including the 2024 AACP Preceptor of the Year Award and the NAH Dean Taylor Health Care Award, and holds dual board certifications in Critical Care Pharmacy and Pharmacotherapy. Her experience is marked by dynamic roles in national committees—serving as chair and vice chair of the BPS Board of Pharmacy Specialties Critical Care Pharmacy Council, among other leadership positions in ACCP and SCCM. Her multifaceted career reflects a profound commitment to advancing patient care, pharmacy education and the ongoing evolution of clinical pharmacy.

Scott Waldrop, PharmD
Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) System Director of Pharmacy

Arizona native Scott Waldrop, PharmD, earned a doctorate of pharmacy and completed a PGY1 at the University of Arizona. He began his career at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott Valley as a clinical coordinator. He went on to serve as director of pharmacy at various Phoenix hospital systems, including John C. Lincoln and Banner Health. He joined Flagstaff Medical Center in 2018 as the NAH system director of pharmacy.
