Salary
Residents receive an annual stipend of $68,640, paid on a bi-weekly basis.
Travel and training
To support professional development, each resident is provided a stipend to attend the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting and a Regional Residency Conference.
All-purpose leave
Residents are allotted 160 hours of Paid Personal Time (PPT). In accordance with the Paid Sick Time policy (HR 07-15), up to 40 hours of this PPT may be used as Paid Sick Time (PST) per benefit year (July 1 – June 30).
These hours may be used for:
- Vacation
- Professional development
- Personal health needs
Please note that any leave exceeding 160 hours will be classified as Unpaid Time Off (refer to the “Time Away from Residency” policy). Unused leave is not paid out at the end of the residency term. Additionally, residents pursuing a PGY2 Residency are granted three extra days specifically for interviews.
