Professional Bio

Rebecca has been a Speech Language Pathologist at Flagstaff Medical Center since 2002.  She received her bachelor’s dual degree in microBiology and chemistry in 1999 and then her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2002 from Northern Arizona University. 

She has worked at FMC in a variety of capacities, including adult acute care, skilled nursing, home health and rehabilitation.  She specializes in outpatient and acute pediatric care which includes the special care nursery, pediatric intensive care, and general pediatrics. In the special care nursery she specializes in swallowing/feeding difficulties of premature children.

She is also the main speech pathologist in Children’s Rehabilitative Services and has worked to develop outpatient services for children with swallowing and feeding difficulties, cleft palate, and general speech/language deficits.

She is a fluent Spanish speaker and enjoys providing services in a bilingual capacity.  She believes in providing individualized care and enjoys working with people of all ages.  In her free time Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and participating in sports.
