Care Philosophy:
Laura Wall, OTR/L, believes quality therapy involves partnership. When talking with patients, she actively listens to what they have to say and how they feel. She takes the time to understand each patient’s unique experiences and needs.
Medical Specialty:
Laura is a registered and licensed occupational therapist who specializes in neurological disorders, including cerebral palsy, Lou Gehrig’s disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and stroke. She has experience working with patients who are experiencing lingering symptoms after a concussion. Laura has also worked with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting those diagnosed with autism, Down syndrome, and early dementia associated with certain developmental disabilities.
Professional Achievements:
Laura earned her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy at the University at Buffalo in New York. She also holds a master’s degree in general special education from The Pennsylvania State University in State College and a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology from Albright College in Reading, PA. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, holding a range of specialized certifications in dementia care, cognitive assessments, vision rehabilitation and more.
