Care Philosophy 

Emily Yakel, PT, DPT, CLT, believes it’s important to treat her patients with the same care, respect and attention she would expect from her own health care providers. 

Medical Specialty 

Emily is a certified lymphedema specialist who specializes in pelvic health and lymphedema. She treats a wide range of conditions, including dysfunctions related to pregnancy, childbirth, breast cancer and menopause. Her areas of focus include endometriosis, dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, lipedema, incontinence, prolapse and constipation. She offers both in-person care and telemedicine appointments. 

Professional Achievements 

Emily earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO, where she also completed her residency in women’s health. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.
