Philosophy
Ms. Newsom helps her patients optimize their physical wellness by addressing multiple areas of the body that directly correlate to overall health and well-being. She focuses on her patients’ physical rehabilitation while incorporating mental wellness and nutritional education components into treatment plans for the best possible outcomes.
Expertise and Special Interests
As a certified personal trainer, Ms. Newsom really enjoys sports, orthopedic rehabilitation and getting her patients back to their prior level of function with more power and knowledge about their bodies. Ms. Newsom is experienced in women’s health, manual therapy and aquatic therapy. She is especially passionate about using manual interventions to correct muscle imbalances and getting her patients back to doing what they love.
Education and Certification
Ms. Newsom is a physical therapist assistant and is Myofascial Decompression Certified and Blood Flow Restriction Certified. She is a Credentialed Level 1 Clinical Instructor with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
