“Growing up, I played soccer and ran track at NAU, so I’ve experienced my own share of sports-related injuries and surgeries. Those experiences sparked my interest in the profession. I now treat athletes of all ages, from weekend warriors to professional athletes.”
Care Philosophy
Amanda DeRosa, PT, DPT, CSCS, believes each patient deserves individualized care. Amanda understands that each person is on a unique healing journey, and she prioritizes education to help patients understand the “why” behind their treatment plans. She values open communication as a key to achieving the best outcomes.
Medical Specialty
Amanda specializes in treating foot, ankle and ACL injuries. She is certified in Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM) and functional dry needling, and is a certified functional gait therapist and CrossFit coach. She offers both in-person care and telemedicine appointments.
Professional Achievements
Amanda earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University, where she also completed a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a minor in community health promotion. She founded a program designed to help young athletes prevent injury and improve their speed, footwork, strength and overall performance.
