Northern Arizona Healthcare named 2018 CHIME HealthCare’s Most Wired Recipient

The most successful healthcare organizations not only adopt to technology but apply it strategically to achieve great outcomes, according to an analysis of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, or CHIME, HealthCare’s Most Wired survey results.

Most Wired, now in its 20th year, highlights strengths and gaps in the industry. The annual survey is designed to identify and recognize healthcare organizations that exemplify best practices through their adoption, implementation and use of information technology. Each participant receives a benchmarking report that can be used to assess their current health IT program and develop health IT-based strategies to raise the quality of their healthcare organizations and consequently the quality of care in the industry as a whole.

CHIME designated Northern Arizona Healthcare as a 2018 Most Wired recipient. NAH was one out of five Arizona healthcare systems to win this award.

“Being named a Most Wired healthcare system means we are seeing a strong positive shift in the way NAH is viewing and leveraging technology,” said David White, MSN-L, RN, NAH chief nursing informatics officer. “By focusing on infrastructure, business and administrative management, clinical quality and safety and clinical integration, we aim to drive efficiencies and improve performance and quality of care for our patients.”
