Dr. Pasquale Bernardi to join NAH on June 1
Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) announced today that Dr. Pasquale Bernardi will join the health system as President of Northern Arizona Healthcare Medical Group (NAHMG) on June 1.
Dr. Bernardi will report to NAH President and CEO Flo Spyrow, and work closely with the organization’s senior leadership, physicians and employees to fulfill NAH’s mission of improving health, healing people. As NAHMG President, Dr. Bernardi will strengthen NAH’s physician-led medical group and will have a particular focus on continuously improving NAH’s ability to deliver exceptional patient care throughout its service area in northern Arizona.

A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Bernardi has more than 20 years of leadership experience in health systems, hospitals and academic settings, and has a proven track record of integrating new healthcare specialties and practices. Dr. Bernardi will join NAH from Ascension Medical Group Wisconsin, where he currently serves as the Clinical Vice President for a multi-specialty group of 500 providers.
Throughout his career, he has successfully implemented processes to improve the quality of care delivered to patients in collaboration with physicians and colleagues at Ascension Medical Group Wisconsin as well as Centegra Health Systems in Illinois and Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Maryland.

Dr. Bernardi earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Virginia. He has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Washington & Jefferson College.
