Northern Arizona Healthcare to allow limited visitation as COVID-19 cases decline

Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) is now allowing limited visitation for patients in our care thanks to the current reduced spread of COVID-19 in our communities.

The change in NAH’s visitation guidelines allows our patients to spend valuable time with their loved ones while receiving care at our facilities. In many instances, patients will be able to receive one to two visitors per day depending on their care plan. The new visitation policy is based on industry best practices, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, and an understanding of our patients’ needs.

NAH is pleased to allow limited visitation for our patients. However, visitors will be asked to follow certain requirements to help protect the health and safety of all patients, visitors and NAH staff. These requirements include wearing a surgical mask at all times, checking in with attendants at the entrances before proceeding to a patient’s room and wearing a visitor identification badge. Visitation hours for most patients will be between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily with final check-in at 5:30 p.m.
