The Northern Arizona Healthcare Orthopedic & Spine Institute surprised the Children’s Health Center with some furry friends on Thursday, November 18. In honor of National Teddy Bear Day on September 9, 2021, the NAH Orthopedic & Spine Institute raised money throughout August and September. Through the generosity of staff members and patients, the Orthopedic & Spine Institute raised enough money to purchase 60 teddy bears to donate to the Children’s Health Center.
“We are so appreciative of the generous donation from the Orthopedic & Spine Institute,” said Keith Garrison of Children’s Health Center. “It is such a great thing when one service in the NAH organization helps out another service at NAH, especially when it benefits pediatric patients. We know that these teddy bears will put big smiles on children’s faces.”
The Children’s Health Center team, which includes dedicated specialty healthcare providers, is committed to providing one-on-one care for children. The pediatric outpatient programs include detailed evaluations, treatment, and medical rehabilitation. The comprehensive services include:
- Children’s Rehabilitative Services (CRS)
- Children’s Specialty Clinics
- Safe Child Center to protect children and families.
- Audiology services designed for children.
