NAH welcomes Dr. Sanjiv Faldu to the Cardiovascular Institute in Cottonwood

Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) announced that Sanjiv Faldu, MD, FACC, has joined the Cardiovascular Institute in Cottonwood at Verde Valley Medical Center (VVMC). Dr. Faldu is an expert in general cardiology as well as internal medicine and trauma care. He has been employed by NAH in Flagstaff since March 2022, and recently transferred his services to Verde Valley.  

“We are very excited to have the talents of Dr. Faldu joining the team at the Cardiovascular Institute in Cottonwood,” said Northern Arizona Healthcare Medical Group President Pasquale Bernardi, MD. “The addition of his skills will allow for more Verde Valley residents to stay close to home as they receive the very best in cardiovascular care.” 

Dr. Faldu earned his doctorate of medicine from the American University of the Caribbean in Montserrat in the British West Indies. He went on to train as an internal medicine resident and served as the assistant chief resident at Raritan Bay Medical Center, an affiliate of the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Dr. Faldu completed his cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. He is board-certified in cardiology by the American College of Cardiology. 

The Cardiovascular Institute provides comprehensive heart and vascular services, including noninvasive and minimally invasive diagnostic tests, electrophysiology services, cardiac catheterization and echocardiography labs. In addition, the institute also treats numerous conditions and performs a variety of surgical procedures. With Dr. Faldu joining the Verde Valley team, members of the community will have more options for the best cardiovascular care in the community. NAH has been prioritizing efforts in recruiting new providers in the Verde Valley area, and will be continuing to introduce additional providers as part of its commitment to delivering exceptional care for the communities it serves.
