Registered voters who live in the city of Flagstaff should now have received their ballot in the mail and it’s time to vote Yes on Proposition 480.
Prop. 480 is the last item on the back side of the ballot. A Yes vote enables NAH to build the proposed hospital that will serve this community for the next 50 years because a Yes vote changes the zoning on the land NAH owns for the hospital. A No vote would keep the land zoned for housing, which means NAH would have to look elsewhere for the next hospital’s location.
If you live in the city and didn’t receive your ballot, or need to request a new one, you can contact the Recorder’s Office to request one: 928-679-7860 or 800-793-6181 or visit one of the **asterisked locations below.
Ballots must be returned to the City Clerk by 7 p.m. Nov. 7. The best practice for mailing your completed ballot is to put it in the mail no later than Halloween to ensure it arrives on time.
