Calm fills The Ambulatory Surgical Center at Northern Arizona Healthcare, which was converted to a 28-bed unit in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Northern Arizona Healthcare’s Flagstaff Medical Center has opened or converted several areas of the hospital as one of several measures to meet Governor’s Ducey’s executive order to expand hospital bed capacity.
By the end of April, FMC will have 317 beds to care for patients to meet the order’s 50% increase requirement.
