The parking lot at Flagstaff Medical Center is getting a fresh layer of sealcoat. Resurfacing begins this Friday, July 18, and will continue through Monday, July 21. All scheduled services and appointments will continue as planned and will not be impacted by the project.
What you can expect
To reduce any inconvenience for our patients, the work will be completed in zones, so not all parking areas will be closed at the same time. The map below shows each zone, divided into three colors: red, blue and yellow.
- The red zone will be closed on Friday.
- The blue zone will be closed on Saturday
- The yellow zone will be closed on Sunday.
On Monday, parking spaces and the walkway will be striped in the yellow zone only. Barricades will be in place to direct cars and pedestrians.
How to avoid getting towed to another lot
Work will begin at 4 a.m. each day, so cars must be removed from each zone before that day’s resurfacing starts. Cars that are not moved will be towed and relocated to another location on campus. On Friday, towed cars will be moved to the Aspen lot. On Saturday and Sunday, they will be moved to other parking areas at FMC.
We appreciate your patience as we improve the parking lot to better serve you and our community.
