Introducing solid foods

Starting solid foods is an exciting milestone in your baby’s development! Get ready to
introduce foods to your baby with confidence. This class will cover readiness cues, first food
ideas, methods for introducing solids and much more. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions so you can be prepared as you begin this new chapter. This class is taught by a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, in addition to a Pediatric Registered Dietitian who specializes in infant and child feeding. This is a virtual class.

Register now:
Registration and payment for classes can be made online by creating an account through the Learning Management System (LMS).
Once logged into LMS, select “Search” at the top of the screen, select “Classroom” under the course type criteria and then enter the class name, “Intro to Solids,” in the search box.
You may also contact the Education office at 928-773-2491, or apply in person at 399 S. Malpais Ln., 2nd floor, at the Northern Arizona Healthcare Education Center in Flagstaff.

After online registration, you will receive an email from the Childbirth Education office confirming receipt of your registration. If you do not receive registration materials within 48 hours of your scheduled class, please contact the Education office at 928-773-2491.
