Randall Garrison

Professional Bio

Randy Garrison was elected to the Northern Arizona Healthcare Board of Directors in 2018.

A fifth-generation Verde Valley native, Randy has spent more than three decades serving the communities of Cottonwood and Yavapai County through elected office, civic leadership and small business ownership. Approaching every role with honesty and integrity, he remains committed to making a positive, lasting difference in the community, county and state he calls home.

Randy holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from the W.A. Franke College of Business at Northern Arizona University, along with multiple degrees from Yavapai College. Over the years, he and his wife, Debbie, have built and managed a diverse portfolio of local businesses. Their ventures spanned commercial property development, computer peripheral manufacturing, e-commerce retail, and a boutique wine and beer shop in Old Town Cottonwood.

Randy’s public service includes terms as chair and vice chair of the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors, member of the Cottonwood City Council, and chairman of the City of Cottonwood Planning & Zoning Commission. He served on the Mingus Union High School and Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District governing boards and testified before the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources in support of the 2018 U.S. Farm Bill.

Beyond elected office, Randy is active in nonprofit and community leadership. He is a member at large of the Northern Arizona Council of Governments. Additionally, he is the president and foundation chair of the Clarkdale-Verde Kiwanis, a board member of the Cottonwood Economic Development Foundation and the former co-chair of the Verde Valley Housing Authority. Randy also founded the Yavapai College Southwest Wine Center and the Sedona Historical Society.
