Melissa Pollum, MSOT, OTR/L, CHT, believes in providing individualized, evidence-based care that reflects each patient’s unique goals and challenges. She partners closely with patients throughout their recovery, emphasizing education, active participation and open communication. Her approach is compassionate and collaborative, with a focus on helping patients achieve the highest level of function and independence possible.
Medical Specialty:
Melissa is an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist specializing in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. She treats a wide range of conditions, including orthopedic and post-surgical injuries, tendon and nerve injuries, fractures, arthritis, repetitive strain injuries, and chronic pain. Her clinical interests include custom orthotic fabrication, return-to-work rehabilitation and restoring patients’ ability to perform daily activities through personalized, evidence-based treatment.
Professional Achievements:
Melissa earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Milligan College. She is a licensed occupational therapist in Arizona and a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). She has been practicing since 2019.
