Matthew Sena, MHA

Professional Bio

Matt Sena, MHA, is the vice president of operations at Northern Arizona Healthcare. He joined NAH in May 2012 and has previously held the roles of executive director of information technology and chief information officer. He is an experienced servant leader with a history of proven success working in health care operations, technology and leadership.

Prior to joining NAH, he spent over a decade working in behavioral health operations and senior leadership roles in New York and worked with a start-up to build an electronic medical record for use in the behavioral health setting.

Matt is skilled in overcoming obstacles to achieve results, building leaders, customer service, mentoring, relationship building and the development of high-performing teams.

He attended Western Connecticut State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a master’s of science in health care administration from Independence University in 2016 and earned a bachelor’s of science in criminal justice and law enforcement administration from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. He is also a member of CHIME, the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, where he has completed their intensive CIO Bootcamp, and is a current member of ACHE American College of Healthcare Executives.
