Matthew Sena, BA, MHA

Professional Bio

Matt Sena, BA, MHA, was named Northern Arizona Healthcare’s Vice President of Operations in May 2018. Prior to this role, he was NAH’s Chief Information Officer. Matt joined NAH in 2012 to manage the transition of Information Technology from an outsourced model to an NAH system department.

While with NAH, Matt completed his master’s degree in healthcare administration and graduated summa cum laude. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

Matt’s previous healthcare experience includes more than 12 years specializing in behavioral health and addictions in New York, where he held multiple leadership roles.

Much of Matt’s early healthcare I.T. experience paralleled his leadership roles in behavioral health as he worked with an organization that developed documentation system specifically designed for behavioral health and addiction treatment. As his interest in healthcare I.T. grew, Matt switched careers and started from the ground up working in almost every aspect of I.T. operations and leadership. In 2014, Matt completed intensive Chief Information Officer boot camp conducted by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, or CHIME.
