Leah Laube is a physical therapist in the EntireCare Rehab & Sports Medicine department of Northern Arizona Healthcare. She is located at Verde Valley Medical Center.
Expertise and Special Interests
Leah specializes in strength and conditioning, and teaches exercise programs to people of all ages and abilities. She uses a variety of manual treatments to improve joint and soft tissue mobility and relieve pain. She has worked in the field of physical therapy since 2012.
Education and Certifications
Leah earned a doctorate in physical therapy from the from the State University of New York, University at Buffalo. She is also certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a strength and conditioning specialist.
Philosophy
Leah believes if you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day – but if you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime. Not only is it important to help patients heal, a therapist must teach patients how to prevent re-injury.
