Katie Trujillo, M.S., C.F.-S.L.P., is a speech-language pathologist in the EntireCare Rehab & Sports Medicine department of Northern Arizona Healthcare. She is located in Cottonwood.
Expertise and Special Interests
Katie has a special interest in working with pediatric patients. As an aunt to 17 nephews and nieces, she understands kids have good days and bad days – and reflecting on the good days makes the harder days easier.
Education and Certification
Katie earned a master’s of science in speech-language pathology from The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, N.M. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communicative disorders from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, N.M., and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, N.M. She began working in the field of speech therapy in 2016.
Philosophy
Katie believes her clients and their families deserve individualized treatment supported by current best practices and research to support their functional, independent and effective communication.
