Dr. Wenger earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Ill. He earned his master’s degree in international commerce and policy from Valparaiso University in Valparasio, Ind., and his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and policital science from the University of Arizona in Tuscon, Ariz.

Dr. Wenger completed his hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix and his residency in emergency medicine at Home Stryker MD School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Mich.
