Office of Philanthropy launches an emergency response fund

In response to the early start of the 2022 fire season in Flagstaff with the Tunnel Fire, Northern Arizona Healthcare’s (NAH) Office of Philanthropy launched an emergency response fund to help colleagues, and community members impacted by this and potential future disaster events.

NAH’s Office of Philanthropy has donated $6,000 directly benefiting community organizations providing support to Flagstaff families affected by the fire, including Flagstaff Family Food Center, Terros Health, and High Country Humane. Larry Kushner, Chief Philanthropy Officer at NAH, visited the American Red Cross Tunnel Fire shelter on April 22, 2022, and distributed gift cards directly to families affected by the fire providing an additional $3,500 to support Flagstaff residents during this difficult time.
