Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) announced that Cristina Tapia, MD, has joined Primary Care at NAH – Jasper in Flagstaff. She is accepting new patients now. Dr. Tapia joins a large, established team, including physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners, who offer the community comprehensive, personalized care.

NAH knows the importance in providing a variety of options in primary care, and she looks forward to building relationships with members of the community,” Dr. Bernardi added.
Dr. Tapia completed focused training in women’s and adolescent health during her residency, and her clinical interests also include preventive care, mental health, and menopause and perimenopause management. As a bilingual physician, she provides care in both English and Spanish. Dr. Tapia practices evidence-based medicine while partnering with patients to develop realistic, sustainable approaches to health. She is committed to fostering a compassionate and judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable, informed and actively involved as they work toward meaningful health goals.
Dr. Tapia earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine. She completed her residency in family medicine at Scripps Mercy Hospital in Chula Vista, California. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the National Hispanic Medical Association.

Primary Care at NAH – Jasper is located at 1895 N. Jasper Dr., Ste. 3, in Flagstaff. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
