Navajo Nation USA movie screening on World Cancer Day

February 4, 2025 @ 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Join Northern Arizona Healthcare on World Cancer Day, Tuesday, Feb. 4, for a screening of Navajo Nation USA.

In the Navajo Nation, life can be beautiful, but dangerous. From 1944 to 1986, 30 million tons of uranium was extracted in northern Arizona, leaving a legacy of cancer-causing uranium in 542 abandoned mines.

Join us on World Cancer Day to view the film and engage in a discussion with its filmmakers and medical experts from Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare.
