Ion robot demonstration
April 23, 2026 @ 8:00 am – 10:00 am
Join us for a day of robotic demonstrations and operate a medical robot yourself!
Northern Arizona Healthcare will soon offer new capabilities in cancer diagnostics, thanks to a lung biopsy robot from Intuitive Surgical, the Ion System. The Ion System will help provide early diagnosis of lung cancer, which can then allow earlier treatment at a potentially curable stage.
You can see the Ion robot in action — and test it yourself — during a full-day demonstration at Flagstaff Medical Center.
Attendees can also try using a model of NAH’s da Vinci surgical robot, which helps adapt numerous surgeries into minimally invasive procedures.
