Jason S. Litzinger, DNP, RN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with Immediate Care at Northern Arizona Healthcare in Camp Verde.

Philosophy

Mr. Litzinger practices active listening, allowing him and his patients to create a collaborative care plan. This approach allows for his knowledge and experience to be coupled with his patients’ preferences, helping patients make positive lifestyle choices, resulting in the best possible outcomes for their health.

Expertise and Special Interests

Mr. Litzinger specializes in family medicine, from newborn to geriatrics. He has specialized experience with veterans because he wants to give back to those who served in the armed forces. Also, he has expertise in treating acute care patients, often assisting individuals experiencing barriers to care. He also has experience in occupational medicine, primary care and telemedicine services.

Education and Certification

Mr. Litzinger, who has been in the health care field since 2004, earned his doctorate of nursing practice with a concentration in leadership from Aspen University in CO, his master’s degree in nursing and family nurse practitioner license from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, IL. He earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Slippery Rock University in Butler County, PA, and his associate’s degree in nursing at the Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh, PA. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
