Professional Bio

Ben Cranfill, MD, is a urologist with Northern Arizona Healthcare Medical Group.


Dr. Cranfill comes to VVMC after 25 years as partner in a successful medical practice at St. Bernards Medical Center, a major referral hospital in Arkansas.
He has specialized knowledge and skill to provide care for a full range of urologic conditions in both male and female patients. Dr. Cranfill has a special interest in stone disease and treatment, and cancer diagnosis and treatment. Patients tell him they appreciate the way he treats them as family as well as the individualized care and compassion he provides. He enjoys being a general urologist and working with the variety of people and issues included in the specialty of urology.


Dr. Cranfill earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. He completed an internship and two residency programs, surgery and urology, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock. He has held positions as chief of medical staff and chief of surgery and has participated in a variety of medical committees, programs and councils.


Dr. Cranfill is a member of the American Urological Association.
