Andrew D. Atiemo, MD, FACC, RPVI

Andrew D. Atiemo, MD, FACC, RPVI, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with Northern Arizona Healthcare Medical Group Cardiology. He is located in Flagstaff. 


Dr. Atiemo believes in delivering the absolute best care he can to each and every patient he sees. He encourages patients to be advocates for themselves and loves it when patients are engaged and take an active role in their care. 

Expertise and Special Interests 

Dr. Atiemo’s background and expertise includes cardiovascular prevention; complex coronary intervention; superficial venous disease; thrombosis and thromboembolism; and mind-body medicine. 

Education and Certification 

Dr. Atiemo earned his medical degree from Harvard University in Boston. He then trained in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and completed his cardiology training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at University of Maryland, Baltimore County in Baltimore. 

Dr. Atiemo is board ceritified in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
