Northern Arizona Healthcare Medical Group welcomes new provider to Village of Camp Verde primary care office

Samuel Fongang, NP

Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) announced that Samuel Fongang, DNP, has joined the NAH Medical Group (NAHMG) as a new provider at the Camp Verde primary care office. He is accepting patients now. NAHMG provides a multidisciplinary primary care approach involving physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners to help families and the community stay healthy.

“We are delighted to welcome Samuel to our Camp Verde primary care practice,” said NAHMG President Pasquale Bernardi, MD. “He is a trusted, talented health care provider who brings extensive expertise in comprehensive primary care. We are excited to grow our group of primary care providers, especially as we continue to build on NAH’s commitment of delivering a high level of exceptional care close to home for Verde Valley residents,” Dr. Bernardi added.

Fongang, who has 20 years of experience in health care, believes that providing high-quality health care means listening and working with his patients to create an individualized care plan. He feels that care starts with open communication and that it’s important to listen closely to each person in order to understand their needs, concerns and personal wishes.

Fongang earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Utah and his undergraduate in nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He has a board-certified nurse practitioner license from the Arizona Board of Nursing.
