Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) announced that Alexandria Kirkpatrick, AGNP, has joined the NAH Medical Group (NAHMG) as a new provider at the Sedona Breast Care office. She is accepting patients now and will also be assisting Dr. Linda Liu, a board-certified breast surgeon. The Sedona Breast Care team partners with the Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare and the NAH Medical Imaging Department to bring state-of-the-art breast care to Sedona, making it a destination for patients seeking expert care when faced with breast cancer.
“We are excited to welcome Alexandria to the Sedona Breast Care team,” said NAHMG President Pasquale Bernardi, MD. “Breast health is a vital part of staying healthy and Alexandria will be able to provide expert, compassionate support to patients. Her passion for taking care of patients and helping them make the best decisions about their care will contribute to NAH’s commitment of delivering excellent health care close to home,” Dr. Bernardi added.
Kirkpatrick, who has over eight years of experience in health care, specializes in breast health, high risk and benign breast problems. She believes in treating patients compassionately and holistically with emphasis on the emotional aspect of their care. She has an open communication philosophy with her patients so that they can discuss together the best plan of care and make educated decisions.
Kirkpatrick earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University in Ohio. She is board certified in Adult-Gerontology by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board, a certification that prepared her to care for patients varying in age from adolescent years to late adulthood, as well as geriatrics.
Sedona Breast Care of Northern Arizona Healthcare has earned full accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons.
