Better access to and more affordable care is in the near future of Northern Arizona Healthcare patients at the Children’s Health Center. As part of Northern Arizona Healthcare’s New Era Strategic Plan, NAH is investing $300 million in infrastructure, programs and people that will help achieve the organization’s Mission – Improving health, healing people. In Flagstaff, this includes the expansion of outpatient care facilities, including the Children’s Health Center.

Currently, the Children’s Health Center is located on the West Campus of NAH’s Flagstaff Medical Center. In order to better serve its patients, the center will move to a new location in East Flagstaff near the Flagstaff Mall.

Not only will this new location improve access, since it is conveniently located off Highway 89A, and will have more parking available for patients, but improvements in service delivery will allow NAH to offer a more affordable care model to patients and their families.

The new location also provides a larger space and will allow the CHC to grow its offerings, as well as provide space to expand other NAH services into East Flagstaff.

The new Children’s Health Center will open in early spring 2020 and an open house event will be held. Be on the lookout for event details as the date approaches.
