Q: What is your care philosophy?

A: I believe a collaboration between patient, surgeon, primary care provider and therapist allows for the most optimal solution to complex problems of the elbow, wrist and hand.

Q: What do you enjoy about being in the field of medicine?

A: I enjoy getting to know each patient and his or her individual story. This allows me to treat their individual needs and address problems based on their occupation, hobbies and personal expectation.

Q: Tell us about your specialty.

A: People’s hands are intricate and complex tools used to accomplish activities. Restoring a patient’s hands restores functionality. Working with therapists, primary care providers and the patient allows for restoration of function both by surgical and non-surgical means.

Q: What are the areas of expertise and interest are you most excited about bringing to NAH?

A: I am excited to provide both general orthopedic trauma care as well as to practice all aspects of hand surgery, including microvascular, fracture and nerve repair surgery.

Q: What do patients tell you they appreciate about you?

A: My caring attitude and the way I give patient the time he or she needs to really understand the problem and how we can best treat it.

Q: What do you enjoy about living in Northern Arizona?

A: I came to Flagstaff to raise my family in a mountain town. I really look forward to continuing to provide medical care to patients in Northern Arizona and contribute to building a great community within the city of Flagstaff.
