Sedona’s free-standing emergency department is recognized for its success

Northern Arizona Healthcare’s Verde Valley Medical Center − Sedona Campus was recently featured in Rural Health Information Hub as an example of how free-standing emergency departments can survive in rural areas.

The Sedona Campus was built in 1995 and offers emergency services; outpatient services, including primary care, cardiology, orthopedics; a laboratory draw site; imaging services; and a cancer center.

It works very well to serve the community and the purpose for which it was created.
