Checkup chart for men’s health

The old-school guy (take a moment to visualize him now, sitting in his circa-1962 recliner with a gin martini and an unfiltered cigarette; not caring about yoga or turmeric smoothies) could go for decades without thinking about medical screenings or immunizations. If you told the old-school guy he ought to get, say, nutrition counseling, he’d look right past you at his Zenith floor model TV and say, “Meh.”

Old-school guy’s life expectancy? 66 years.

Today, the life expectancy for an American man is about 77 years. If you’re going to live longer, you want to live well.

This chart shows what you need to do, and when.
