Patient and Family Support
To help patients and families cope with
the emotional and practical problems associated with cancer, we offer the
following services:
Individual and family counseling
Counseling helps manage depression, anxiety,
grief and fear. Relaxation, interactive guided imagery and hypnotherapy
services also are available.
Support groups
General and cancer specific support groups
for patients, family and friends provide guidance and hope from others who
have experienced the diagnosis of cancer.
For more information, please contact Jan Catherine, social worker, at 928
204-4175.
Special programs
Programs such as a Women’s Retreat, National
Cancer Survivor Day Celebration, Guided Imagery workshops and other special
presentations are offered periodically throughout the year.
Circle of Friends
This program connects patients with
experienced cancer survivors who act as a resource and offer support during
and after the treatment process.
Information and referral
Cancer Center Sedona Campus offers assistance connecting patients with community agencies, filing
for disability, addressing insurance issues and gathering information about
