Cardiac/Pulmonary Health
and Fitness
Flagstaff Medical Center’s
Cardiac/Pulmonary Health & Fitness program provides a wide range of
comprehensive services to cardiac and pulmonary patients, post-heart
attack, coronary artery and bypass patients. Designed to support the physical, emotional
and social needs of the patient and family, the program offers a continuum
of care to patients in Northern Arizona. Individuals can learn to reduce their risk factors for heart disease
and have a specialized plan
of care developed by our team.
FMC offers four levels of cardiac and pulmonary fitness programs. A
physician is on site at the medical center during exercise sessions. The programs adhere to
guidelines of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary
Rehabilitation.
