Salary Competitive based on experience  
Standby Pay $3.00 Non-Exempt Staff
Callback Pay Time and a half, 2 hour min. Non-Exempt Staff
Performance Appraisals Merit increases of 0-7.5% based on annual evaluation Non-exempts: after one year of service.
Exempts: July 1 each year
Relocation Assistance 10% of base pay; one year full time commitment. For selected, full-time positions.

Paid Time Off and Short Term Disability Employees budgeted 16 or more hours are enrolled in PTO and STD (Effective Jan. 1, 2003) Budgeted 16-40 hours per week
Retirement Plan 401(k) plan with employer match ($.50 cents on the dollar up to first 4%). An additional 2% (discretionary) contribution is made if an employee meets 1,000 hour rule and is an active employee on December 31st. Employees are vested after 3 years on employer match portion; vested after 5 years on discretionary portion. Vested year corresponds to 1000 worked hours per year minimum. All employees

Family and Medical Leave Act Leaves up to 12 weeks may be granted to eligible employees for the birth/care of a child during the first year after birth; the placement of a child through adoption or foster care; the serious health condition of a spouse, son, daughter or own parent; the serious health condition of the employee that prevents performance of the essential functions of the employee’s job. Available to all employees who have completed one year of service and have worked a minimum of 1,250 hours during the previous 12 months prior to the FMLA request.

Paid Time Off

Includes vacation, sick time, and 6 major holidays
Non-exempts: 0-4 years: 3.54 hours per week or 23 days/year.  Maximum is 34 days/year after 9 years.
Exempts: 0-4 years: 4.31 hours per week or 28 days per year. After 4 years: 5.235 hours per week or 34 days per year.
Non-exempts: May access after 3 months of employment.


Exempts: May access as they accrue.
PTO Sell-back May sell-back PTO at discounted rate based on length of service. Must have 80 hours of PTO remaining in bank and sell minimum of 40 hours
Holidays 6 per year (New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th Of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving day, Christmas Day) Paid at time and a half when worked. Part of the PTO bank of hours accrual Non-exempt staff
Short Term Disability 10 days per year. (For extended illnesses. May access after 32 hours of PTO or immediately if employee has outpatient surgery at FMC, VVMC, or TASC.) Non-exempts: May access after 3 months of employment.

Bereavement Leave Up to 24 scheduled hours paid (based on budgeted hours) Upon employment
Tuition Reimbursement Full time and part time employee are eligible for reimbursement of tuition and registration costs. Reimbursement is based on worked hours, those employees working 40 hours will be reimbursed 100%, those working less than 40 will be pro-rated accordingly. Maximum annual reimbursement cannot exceed $4,000. 2 year commitment from last day of class taken. Completion of Introductory Period prior to completion of course.
