CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
RADIATION ONCOLOGY
DAYS - 32 HRS/WK
Responsible for assessing and
addressing the psychosocial needs of patients and families receiving
radiation treatment. This includes initial assessment, counseling,
resource acquisition or referral, crisis intervention, education,
and case management during the treatment course, as well as related
written documentation. Serve as an advocate, consultant, and
support for cancer center staff. Three years professional social
work experience in a health care setting and two years experience in
working with patients and families faced with chronic illness. LCSW
license required.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH UNIT
DAYS - RELIEF
Assist the interdisciplinary team in meeting the psychosocial needs
of patients and families, enabling them to better utilize medical
care resources in order to achieve their optimal level of health.
Assesses, documents and intervenes in case referrals for discharge
planning or other requested social services. Coordinates referrals
and consultations with medical and hospital staff, community
resources and family members. MSW and fingerprints required.
