on-going assessments and development of the patient plan of care;
managing and delivering patient treatment, patient and family
teaching, identifying and correcting variances from the patient’s plan
of care, and completing discharge planning.

An advanced practice professional nurse responsible for conducting
initial and on-going assessments and development of the staff’s
clinical and professional competencies in the unit; serves as an
advanced clinical practitioner, consultant, educator, researcher,
and change agent; promotes teamwork, collaboration, and innovation;
plans and delivers education programs to staff on specific
patient-related issues; assists in the development and oversight of
the specific unit's quality management initiatives; and encourages
and supports research-based practice and participation in research.
BSN required, MSN preferred.
Current AZ RN license required.
Current
national certification in a clinical area of nursing practice and
BLS required, ACLS, PALS and NALS preferred. 3-5 years supervisory
experience preferred.

Collaborates with other members of the health care team in planning
and delivering patient care.
Current AZ RN license and BLS required. Graduate from an
accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred.

SURGERY - ASC
DAYS - 40 HRS/WK
Responsible for overseeing and directing the patient care activities
on the unit. Activities specifically include: staffing for current
shift, determining appropriate staff levels and mix to provide quality
care and maintain unit productivity, assign patient teams, delegate
patient care activities to unit and ancillary staff, addresses work
flow issues, ensures incidents are appropriately documented and
corrective steps are taken, and serves as a resource to staff. 1-3
years supervisory experience preferred. Associate degree required,
bachelor’s degree preferred. Current AZ RN license required, BLS from
AHA required.
